Guest book

We are doing a first look and our photographer has a vendor who can use an image she takes during our first look, turn it into a canvas print and deliver it to our reception. People will then sign the print and our photographer will take the canvas back to her contact for him to fully seal the print. It's something very unique, to have a print from that day to be used as our guest book on a canvas! It's not really a DIY, but I wanted to include it anyway. Our canvas will be in black and white, not color as well.

Letters--Cake Table and Memory Table

I bought all letters from Paper Source (also sold at Michael's). I used Paper Mache letters as they were more the style I wanted. I just used craft paint and a foam paint brush on them. For the I DO letters I also brushed tacky glue on the top and sprinkled glitter over the glue for the sparkle effect.
The B & K will be at the Memory Table standing up near our guest book.

Favors

We are having 2 favors with the photobooth being one. The other one is a popcorn buffet! We are looking at 2 vendors for the popcorn, we want to have about 8 different flavors. I'm going to recreate the label below to place on the bags for the popcorn buffet. Super excited because who doesn't love popcorn?!

Here is our completed bags! We used the quote above and printed them on labels I got from Michaels. We also got the navy paper bags from Michaels--they will hold about 3 cups of popcorn and with them being dark in color, grease stains aren't really an issue.

Table Names

I think I'm just going to print out numbers and put them in frames. These frames are from Ikea and are $.99 a piece so very budget friendly!
The 2nd picture, I just love the way they printed the table number!

Here are my completed table numbers. We decided to go a totally different direction than my inspiration pics above. We took a trip to our college town and took pictures of buildings and places that are special to us from college, which is where I was the first year of our relationship.
We cut navy card stock for the front and grey card stock for the back. I printed the pictures out at home and we printed up a little information about the picture for the back. I really love how they turned out!

Menus

Picture
I used the same graphic as in our invites on the menus. I printed off 3 for each table and mounted them to Fairway Green metallic card stock with Zots. Love how they came out!
We have silver stands for them to be displayed on each table.

OOT Bags (Out Of Town bags)

Picture
We are providing our guests who have traveled in for the wedding a bag of goodies when they arrive at the hotel.
We are including 2 bottles of water, a bag a Jay's chips (produced in Chicago), a pack of Wrigley gum (also produced in Chicago), a bag of trail mix, a cookie, and chocolate-covered cherries and blueberries from my hometown. In these bags we will also include a Chicago visitor map and a brochure with the schedule for Saturday.
It's a small token of our appreciation for them traveling to spend the day with us.

Picture
I utilized VP once again! These are rack cards, I used one of their templates and edited it to what I wanted. I used a 1.5" punch for the hole and attached 2 green confetti flowers to each one with double stick tape. Each OOT bag will get one. Easy project!

Reception Signs

Picture
I bought these mirrors at The Dollar Tree and chalkboard spray paint from Michaels. K sprayed the mirrors in our backyard and turned them into Chalkboards!
We have 3 of them, 1 will be for the bar, 1 for the photobooth and 1 for the popcorn buffet. We got chalk markers from Blick to write on them with. By using markers versus regular chalk, the signs won't smear--the chalk won't come off unless it's wiped off with a wet cloth.
We have black stands to display them on from Michaels.

Rehearsal Dinner Invites

Picture
I designed these in Word and printed them on an A10 size card from my home printer. The envelopes are also size A10 which I also ran through my home printer.

Photo Booth Bookmarks

I ordered oversized postcards from Vista Print and cut them down to size. I got the silver ribbon from Jo-Ann's and cut it to the appropriate length. The clear bookmark sleeves are from Clearbags.com, 100 for $19.99 and I ordered 200. Each guest will get a bookmark at their place setting and the extras will be available at the photo booth.

Photo Booth Strips

Picture
My florist is also a graphic designer (she made my map insert for the invitations) and she works with our Photo Booth company on a regular basis. She made this design for the 2x6 inch strips that will print out for our guests.
